Description
Beautifully crafted sign, "EMPIRE POCKET KNIVES" written in gold leaf paint displays on either side. This company was crafting quality pocket knives from 1856 to 1930 in Winsted, CT. This is an authentic piece that was handcrafted before 1930. This particular sign was hung in a jewelry store in San Francisco, which might explain why they went out of business. Measures 10' 5" long x 16 1/2" tall and weighs approximately 60 lbs.. Solid wood framed mirrored glass. Very nice, unique display. With heavy duty hooks, ready for hanging.
